Fostering is one of the most meaningful ways to help animals in need. By providing temporary care, you give a cat or dog a safe place to rest, recover, and prepare for adoption. ❤️ If you would like to join our foster program, please complete the form below.

Fostering helps animals who: • Need space and comfort outside the shelter • Require short-term recovery after medical care • Need socialization or gentle support • Are waiting for their permanent family Your home can make the difference between fear and safety, between uncertainty and healing. 🌿

To support our foster families, SAR offers: ✔ Supplies when available (food, litter, pads, etc.) ✔ Medical care covered by the rescue ✔ Guidance and support throughout the foster period ✔ Help with adoption meet-and-greets You are never alone—we work together to help each animal thrive. 🤝

You may be a great fit if you: • Are 18+ and live in a pet-friendly residence • Can provide a safe indoor environment • Are able to transport the animal to vet appointments (or coordinate with us) • Are committed to the animal’s well-being and routine care We will match your experience and home environment with the most suitable pet—we will support you every step of the way. 💛
